The most tangy and toasted of our white grape jams. Sweet, silky and rustic, with visible natural sugar crystals and a remarkable depth of its own aromatic essences. This jam becomes an excellent companion for appetisers and hearty, characterful meals.

Tasting note
Appearance – Smooth and substantial, with earthy tones of ochre, sunlit gold and hints of carmine.

Nose – Generous and surprising, revealing spicy, resinous and dry Mediterranean herbal fragrances — fennel, liquorice, toasted notes and a whisper of barrel wood.

Palate – Pleasant entry, soft and calm texture. Sweet with a hint of acidity in gentle balance, blending with abundant large sugar crystals that develop naturally in the jar after production. Traces of toasted notes, pear and raisin, add warmth and depth.

Finish – Broad and deep, delivering a mellow and generous roughness that melts into its sweetness.

Sobre la uva Xarel·lo

El xarel·lo es una variedad de uva blanca originaria del Penedès. Su nombre proviene de la variante dialectal italiana «sciarello», que significa "claro".

Es una planta que se adapta bien a todo tipo de suelos, rústica y, con los años, muy productiva. De brotación temprana y crecimiento regular, resiste bien la sequía y el calor. El racimo es grande y poco compacto. El grano es esférico, de piel gruesa y de color rosado dorado cuando ha madurado. La pulpa es translúcida e incolora, con tendencia a oscurecerse en la sobremaduración. Es dulce y perfumado.
